The crescent marimba is a wonderful instrument in any setting, but especially great for people who may be starting out on their musical adventures. Set up for one or two (or three or four!) players, it provides a fun setting to explore musical sounds

This design lends itself to enhancing many aspects of the learning environment. There are musical, social, hand-eye and literacy benefits, as well as the aesthetic qualities a hand made musical instrument brings.

The instruments you see pictured here are two octave, hexatonic, outdoor Marimbas.

The frame is made from Hardwood and powder coated steel. Overall length is 1.85m

The Keys are specially tuned to give a harmonic sound, tuning both fundamental and first harmonic to the same note.

All stainless steel wire rope covered in plastic and UV resistant rubber boots and beaters.

The finish is a hard wearing marine varnish.
